Greenville in Southern VictoryEdit
Greenville was the site of a vigilante murder of a Negro for coughing at a white woman in 1945. General Irving Morrell ordered the arrest of the people responsible, with heavy artillery and air support. This act inspired the pamphlet, Equality.
