Gabon is a state in west central Africa sharing borders with Equatorial Guinea to the northwest, Cameroon to the north, and with the Republic of the Congo curving around the east and south.
The area was officially occupied by France in 1885, and achieved independence in 1960.
After Germany won the Second World War, Gabon was integrated into Germany's empire. It remained part of the Reich into the 21st century.
Gabon (along with the rest of Africa) quickly fell to the Race during their invasion of the Earth in 1942. It was recognised as a Race colony after the Peace of Cairo in 1944.
