The Furry is a popular toy invented by David Goldfarb and patented in Canada. It is a mechanical device with a microphone that can record and play audio messages and is covered in a soft plush coat. Soviet leader Vyacheslav Molotov found the Furry very unnerving and considered it a potential tool for espionage.
