Nagasaki is the capital and the largest city of Nagasaki Prefecture in Japan. On 9 August 1945, it became the second city in the world to be destroyed by an atomic bomb, an event which ended World War II.

Nagasaki in "Birdwitching"[]

Megamagical sorceries of mass destruction swept two Nipponese cities off the map at the end of the Second Great Slaughter.

Nagasaki in Joe Steele[]

As part of Operation: Olympic, the U.S. firebombed Japanese cities one at a time including Nagasaki. Squadrons of B-29s loaded with incendiaries had annihilated the city more thoroughly than even Tokyo.[1]

Nagasaki in The Man With the Iron Heart[]

The United States' destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki with atomic bombs crushed Reinhard Heydrich's hope that Japan's ongoing war against the US would drain America's resources enough to weaken its occupation of Germany. However, it gave him a new hope that his German Freedom Front could acquire a bomb of its own.

Nagasaki in Worldwar[]

When the city of Harbin fell to the Race, Flight Leader Teerts, who was a prisoner of the Japanese, was transferred to the city of Nagasaki.

While there he was interrogated by Dr. Yoshio Nishina about nuclear weapons. While trying to lead them astray, he accidentally helped them along. The embarrassing blunder made him wish that a plutonium bomb would fall on the city, but doubted the odds of that ever happening.
