Rear Admiral Bradley Allen Fiske (June 13, 1854 - April 6, 1942) was an officer in the United States Navy who came to be recognized as a technical innovator. During his long career, Fiske invented many electrical and mechanical devices, with both Naval and civilian uses, and wrote extensively on technical and professional issues. One of the earliest to understand the revolutionary possibilities of naval aviation, he wrote a number of books of important effect in gaining a wider understanding of the modern Navy by the public.
He served during the Spanish-American War in 1898.
Bradley Fiske in Southern Victory[]
Bradley Fiske commanded United States Naval forces at the Sandwich Islands after they had been taken from Great Britain during the Great War.[1]
In 1917, Fiske led a fleet to help the USA's ally Chile prosecute their war against Argentina. While en route, Fiske told Sam Carsten and Vic Crosetti that information they'd provided to their superiors led to the arrest and execution of a Sandwich Islander spy named John Liholiho.[2]
