Elizabeth Stride (Elisabeth Gustafsdotter, 27 November 1843 - 30 September 1888) was the third victim of the notorious unidentified serial killer Jack the Ripper, who killed and mutilated prostitutes in the Whitechapel area of London during the late summer and autumn of 1888. She was killed on the night of the "Double Event" that saw the murder of Catherine Eddowes less than an hour later.
Elizabeth Stride was murdered by a vampire named Jack as a distraction: Jack murdered her to draw the attention of the Sanguine Club so he had ample time to mutilate Catherine Eddowes.
