382px-ES Legion Condor
The Condor Legion was a unit composed of German volunteers from the Luftwaffe and Wehrmacht, which served with the Nationalists during the Spanish Civil War of July 1936 to March 1939. The Condor Legion developed methods of terror bombing which were used widely in the Second World War shortly afterwards.

Condor Legion in The War That Came EarlyEdit

The Condor Legion[1] was still active in Spain when the Second World War broke out in Europe in 1938. They were successful in leading the assault on Gibraltar, but as the war in France began to heat up, they were virtually withdrawn from Spain. Although many Spaniards knew the Legion was only there as technicians to refine their own fighting techniques, they were the most highly respected unit in the war, next to the Lincoln Brigade.
