Clark Calvin Griffith (November 20, 1869 – October 27, 1955), nicknamed "the Old Fox", was a Major League Baseball pitcher and manager. He owned the Washington Senators from 1920 until his death in 1955, during which time the team went from a World Series champion to perhaps the worst in the League.

Clark Griffith in The Man With the Iron HeartEdit

Clark Griffith was one of those opposed to the Truman Administration's post-war policies in Germany. On July 4, 1947, Griffith joined the rest of "unofficial Washington" in Lafayette Park to protest the president.[1]
