The Chief Maintenace Engineer was a young man with blond hair, who was the head of the Engineer's section aboard the Anzac Federation ship Wirraway. After three athletes were murdered, apparently by the Second Irgun, at the Sixty-sixth Winter Games on Mimas, the Cheif Engineer was contacted by Bill Bennett who wanted help with the frost he and Angus Cavendish had seen.
While the engineer was helpful to Bill in gathering evidence, his Australian slang nearly lead to conflict as Mr Bennett mistook a comment for a racist remark. He realised his error before the situation escalated.
