Chet Huntley in The Hot WarEdit

Chet Huntley attended President Truman's press conference which announced the use of American atomic bombs against Soviet troop concentrations in Western Europe. When Huntley asked whether the European allies could be trusted to continue the fight, Truman pointed to the example of Charles de Gaulle's Committee of National Salvation, which was more eager to prosecute the war than the French Fourth Republic ever was.[1]

Chet Huntley in WorldwarEdit

In 1965, Chet Huntley broadcast the news that the Race had destroyed the city of Indianapolis with an explosive-metal bomb in retaliation for the U.S. attack on the Colonization Fleet in 1962.[2]
