We easily have enough articles for a sub-category of Revolutions. Anyone interested? Turtle Fan 07:04, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
- I think its a good idea. TR 22:10, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

Shall we split this along OTL/ATL lines? TR 16:59, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
EDIT: Just realized, a third category for fantasy wars will probably also be good. TR 17:01, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
I was thinking of deleting it now that we've subdivided all its articles, like we usually do, but I think it still serves a purpose as a home for all these new war categories. Throwing them all into Events seems untidy. Turtle Fan 20:50, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
List of Minor Wars Edit
Recent editing at the "List of Wars in Disunited States" has returned my mind to an idea I've been contemplating off and on lately.
We have many fictional wars that are more "background" events. HT tells us they happened, but doesn't give us enough information (the cause, the belligerents, the outcome) to create substantive articles. Nonetheless, we have articles on some of these wars. The Second Iranian Intervention, to use a semi-pertinent example, is an article that has about as much textual substance as the average minor fictional character article; the pontificating literary comment is about as long as the body.
There are other wars we'd probably have created articles now, but their defects are impossible to overcome, for example, the US-UK War in GotS. We know when it started, we know the why, but obviously its ongoing at the end of the novel, and so we don't know the outcome or when it ended.
I think we should go ahead and create something akin to a "List of Minor Wars" page (hopefully we can come up with a better title), and start moving some these "background" wars there. TR (talk) 19:47, January 3, 2016 (UTC)
