Jerome Carver was a merchant-trader on the spaceship Enrico Dandolo when it made planetfall on the world Ephar. The natives were of two races, the dominant blue-skins and the brutally oppressed green-skins. Earth policy was not to intervene unless requested and yet the green-skins adamantly refused to make that request. This was not Carver's first trip to the planet and this time he intended to do something about this injustice.
