This category lists characters who had at least one of their children predecease them.

Please note: strictly speaking all Minervans probably belong in this category, as Minervan mates invariably die in child birth, and all of these females were someone's daughter. However, given the drastically different understanding of parenthood in their culture, this does not qualify them. Minervans who have lost sons, such as Hogram, should be included, as there is the expectation in Minervan culture that a male's sons should outlive him, and fathers do mourn for lost sons.
