Bortav vez Pamdal was the Hereditary Tyrant of Tartesh.[1]
After Radnal vez Krobir (a Trench Park guide), Peggol vez Menk (one of the Hereditary Tyrant's own Eyes and Ears), and others helped prevent the detonation of a starbomb in the Barrier Mountains, Bortav vez Pamdal summoned them to Tarteshan to personally thank and celebrate them. Bortav vez Pamdal also gave them silver and titles of nobility.[2] The public ceremony over, the Hereditary Tyrant consumed a great deal of alcohol, and made a point of introducing his niece Toglo zev Pamdal to vez Krobir, before returning to the celebration. The two had actually met when Toglo zev Pamdal was a tourist in vez Krobir's group.[3]
