Bertrand Caradeuc was one of the pirates of Avalon. When Red Rodney Radcliffe called a parley to organize resistance to William Radcliff's offensive, Caradeuc was the most skeptical of Radcliffe's claims. Caradeuc's badgering forced Radcliffe to renounce leadership of the pirates, if it meant unification.[1]
Caradeuc participated in the Battle of the Hesperian Gulf. He lost his right ear to an English sharpshooter.[2] During the parlay aboard the Aigle d'Argent, Caradeuc was one of those pirates who believed that Radcliff's Armada was beaten.[3]
When Avalon fell, Caradeuc was killed.[4]
