Art Fletcher in "The House That George Built"Edit

During his tenure with the Phillies, Art Fletcher managed minor league star George Ruth during his first stint in the majors. Despite Ruth's pleas to be allowed to play the field, Fletcher kept Ruth as a pitcher for the season and a half he played with the Phillies. Ruth had a bad arm at that point, so his pitching wasn't particularly good.
