Apopka

Apopka is a city in central Florida. In 1944, the Race detonated an atomic bomb in an area between it and Orlando, Florida in retaliation for a bomb detonated by the United States outside of Denver, Colorado.

In the language of the Race, apopka is a word that means "to create a bad smell." Atvar found it amusing that a Tosevite city would carry that name.
