Allan Cooper (d. 1610) was a veteran soldier (having fought in England's wars against Spain and Holland) and guard of the Jamestown colony. He joined Edward Wingfield's expedition to rescue Wingfield's infant daughter, Joanna, who was kidnapped by sims. Although the rescue was successful, one of their group, Henry Dale, decided to attack the sims. Cooper was killed when a rock thrown by a sim crush his skull.
Cooper left behind an infant son of his own, Cecil.
