Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Fedorovich Volchkov (1902-1978) was the alternate Soviet judge during the Nuremberg Trials after World War II. Before taking up the practice of law he had worked in the Soviet film industry.
As Volchkov was being taken out on a stretcher, Lou Weissberg mistook him for Nikitchenko. Volchkov, who had some English, corrected Weissberg, and informed those present that Nikitchenko was dead.[1]
