"6+" is a science fiction short story written by Harry Turtledove. It was originally published in Analog Magazine in September, 1987 and later incorporated into Earthgrip as the section entitled "The G'Bur".
The story is of the first trading mission to an alien planet by Jennifer Logan, a professor of literature who specializes in science fiction of the twentieth century. Logan is inspired to resolve a conflict between warring primitive tribes by the Robert A. Heinlein novella "The Man Who Sold The Moon".
