"Impossible Things Before Breakfast" was a song on Squirt Frog and the Evolving Tadpoles latest album Out of the Pond. Since it hadn't been released as a single, individuals who knew about it, let alone could whistle its opening bars, were big fans who really liked the album. One such individual was Tina Morton, a hotel clerk in Missoula, Montana.
The name of the song likely comes from Lewis Carroll's fantasy novella Through the Looking-Glass, a sequel to Alice in Wonderland. A character, the White Queen, tells Alice that in her youth she could believe "six impossible things before breakfast". The novel Eruption provides nothing more than the title of the song.
